Creating Characters Using Draw, Caption, Label

Students learned about characterizaion using the draw, caption, label, method.

Expository and Literary Writing

In this class students analyzed prompts to determine whether a text is literary (story) or expository (essay). They broke into groups and reviewed two essays. The first two classes started their own essay about cyber bullying.

Creating Characters Using STEAL

One way to help students remember the components of characterization is using, Speech, Thoughts, Effects on Others, Actions, and Looks.
